Please go through the following steps in order to amend the cause of this error:
1) quit Excel

2) open a command shell with admin privileges (click on the start menu, type cmd, select the program from the list that shows up and choose “Run as administrator”)

3) in the command shell, type cd “c:\program files (x86)\LEC\Translate”

4) type Regsvr32 “c:\program files (x86)\LEC\Translate\Addins\LogoMediaDotNetAddIn.dll”

5) you should get a dialog suggesting success.

6) run Excel and see the addin menu


If the addin causes persistent problems it can be removed by deleting the file c:\users\YOURUSERNAME\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Excel\XLStart\LEC Translate.xla, or from the Excel Options panel.
