hallmark card studio deluxe on windows 7

After installing,box came up saying a problem was encountered accessing the SQL data base.etc ets finishes by saying ,installthe correct version of SQL server compact refer to article 974247. program wont work at all.

Initially set the computer to receive automatically driver updates for newly connected devices - explained how in this article here, then run Windows Update (www.update.microsoft.com) and apply all Important and optional updates (excluding language packs) available for your computer's system. When installation is completed, shut down (do not restart it) the computer. Upon booting up check for Windows Updates again, apply if any. In addition, make sure computer protection program’s virus signature database is updated to its latest release. Then please install Hallmark Card Studio using Windows' Administrator account.


If you still receive the same message, please go to the Add/Remove Programs and check to see if you see an entry that starts with Microsoft SQL Server Compact. If you find such an entry, please try the following:


Go to the Add/Remove Programs

Uninstall Hallmark Card Studio

Uninstall any item that starts with Microsoft SQL Server Compact

Restart your computer

Reinstall Hallmark Card Studio

Restart your computer

Test the Hallmark program once more


If you are unable to find any entry that starts with Microsoft SQL Server Compact in the Add/Remove Programs, then please try the following:


Go to the Add/Remove Programs

Uninstall Hallmark Card Studio

Download and install the Microsoft SQL Server Compact 3.5 SP2 component found here

After that has been installed, restart your computer.

Reinstall Hallmark Card Studio after the computer finishes restarting.
